Join Liz Mediavilla for a day of art and yoga, in beautiful, inspiringly scenic, Pioneertown, just a half-hour's drive north of Palm Springs.
Come
early and take an easy hike or meditate among the rocks. There's over
a 100 acres to explore and plenty of space to catch your breath and
connect with the creative flow that is always present. Here, for one
day, is an opportunity to create space in your life to make art, to
avoid the interruptions and distractions of daily life and listen to
your muse..
Enjoy an early morning Yoga session
especially designed by Liz to get your creative juices flowing.
Afterwards, relax and enjoy a bountiful, potluck brunch while we get to
know each other. Bring your easel, drawing pads, books, camera,
beadwork or any project you’ve been unable to make time for and devote
your whole afternoon to feeding your creative spirit. Teri, an
accomplished artist, will have collage materials and guidance for
anyone wishing to come without a project in hand. We’ll gather together
at the end of our day for a light tea and final meditation.

Liz Mediavilla

Liz Mediavilla teaches yoga at Copper Mountain College, writes the art column for the Sun Runner Magazine and has long held an interest in the interface between yoga, meditation and creativity. "If we are made in the image of our Creator, then we are all born to create. We are all artists. Some of us just know it while the rest of us are on the path of discovering their inner gifts."
